Captain Andrew and his first mate, Rob were awesome! Very friendly, professional and courteous. They made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. We chose the 2 hour trip which is perfect for us. Drew was very efficient in getting us to the reef where we fished and maximized our time there to catch a good number of fish. He and Rob made the trip very enjoyable and safe. I highly recommend Andrew and Locla Grown Charters!!

The trip was really good. The captain kept moves us very fast from a couple spots that were not hitting well. He did a good job of finding the fish, and helped show us how to best catch them. We had a few kids on the boat and they had a great time too!

Captain Andrew and Rob did a fantastic job getting us on fish despite a windy day. We loved it so much we rebooked for tomorrow at the dock when we arrived back! Going to the Reef tomorrow and cant wait !

Andrew worked his tail off to keep bait on hooks and lines in the water. He offers a number of areas to fish and gives you options to maximize fishing for the day. I booked a 4 hour trip with my wife and 3 kids. Andrew was great with the kids and was always willing to answer questions.

Captain Drew was fantastic with my family of three. My wife and 8-year-old daughter are not very experienced with fishing, but he was incredibly patient and made sure they felt comfortable and were able to catch fish. His positive attitude (even when we accidentally snagged some trees) and fun personality made the entire 6-hour trip a blast. I highly recommend booking at least the 3/4 day trip. It gives you enough time to really enjoy the experience and have success. Captain Drew took us to six different spots he’s known since childhood, and he goes the extra mile by catching live bait in the morning instead of using frozen shrimp. You definitely want to go with a local guide like him, not someone new to the area. We ended up catching Bull Shark, Nurse Shark, Snook, Snapper, Tarpon, and Jack!

Wow, Captain Andrew gave my 15-year-old grandson and me a fishing experience we'll never forget. The trip not only met but far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped on the boat, it was clear that Andrew was fully prepared. He wasted no time getting us out to the fishing grounds in the Everglades, and with top-notch gear and quality bait, we were reeling in fish right away. My grandson was eager to catch sharks, and before long, we hooked some impressive bull sharks—what an incredible experience! Andrew’s knowledge of the waters around Key Largo is remarkable, passed down through generations of his family who have fished these waters. No GPS needed—he knows the area like the back of his hand. Andrew’s great with people, especially kids. He was extremely patient and helpful with my grandson, offering clear guidance on casting, hooking, and reeling in fish. If you’re thinking about booking a fishing charter, I highly recommend Captain Andrew. You won’t be disappointed!

What an awesome first experience for my kids! I have 2 kids that love to fish but have never fished in the glades. Not only did they catch fish, they saw manatees and dolphins in their own habitat. The personalized experience of the private charter made a great experience for us!

1 person excited to fish, 1 happy to come along, and 2 people on their first charter, and it was a blast! Next time we will have all 4 people excited to fish!! Great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and the fish were biting. Drew knows what he's doing and provides a plethora of local knowledge. Definitely will come again, thank you!

Drew was a great captain! We had a great time with some beginners who were hesitant to come. Drew was great helping all of us and we had a great time. Only regret was not doing a longer trip! It's gorgeous out there and the fish were biting! Highly recommend using Local Grown of you want to go on a fishing trip.
